Over a century old and present in 135 countries, Alliance Française shares the core Canadian values of humanism and respect for cultural and linguistic diversity.
This year, Alliance Française de Toronto is celebrating its 110th anniversary, and its ongoing development as both a language school and cultural centre is a testimony to its potential and vitality, at a time when Toronto is affirming its status as one of the cultural hubs of North America.
With its 6,000 students and 80 cultural activities per year, supported by a team of 90 qualified teachers and staff, as well as by a strong Board of Directors, Alliance Française de Toronto has decided to make its own contribution to the city's international profile. For that, we'll need your support.
« Un foyer pour tous » ("A Home For All") is an ambitious yet realistic project which will provide a modern, accessible and spacious addition to one of Toronto's cultural institutions. Over the years, it will allow thousands of Canadians (including those newly arrived) to learn French and better find their place in this bilingual country. It will strengthen Canada's bilingual legacy, and it will become a crucial meeting place for francophones and francophiles, in the heart of one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
